OiMy
Listen — Room to Be a Family

What OiMy actually does

Room to be a family — while something steady holds the rest.

Picture a Tuesday: lunches, a missing shoe, an unanswered school email, and something your kid said at breakfast that's still sitting in your chest. That's not a bad day. That's just being a parent — and most of it, nobody else ever sees.

First, it gets to know you

Not a search bar. A companion that remembers your house.

OiMy is a family companion — something that actually gets to know your family: your kids' names, their allergies, what Tuesday nights look like at your house, which kid is going through a hard patch right now.

And it carries that context every single time you talk to it, so you're never starting over.

The everyday help

The stuff that actually eats your afternoon.

Ask for a week of dinners your picky eater will touch, and it builds the grocery list too. Need a school email drafted so it sounds calm instead of how you feel at eleven PM? Done — you review it, you send it.

It remembers the appointment, the medication schedule, the permission slip due Friday — so you don't have to hold all of it in your head at once.

When it's not about the task

Some moments just need someone to get it.

It knows the difference between a moment that needs a fix, and a moment that just needs you to feel less alone in it.

OiMy is built on real behavior-change coaching methods — the same techniques therapists and parent coaches actually use. It won't rush a checklist at you when you're venting. It sits with you first.

What's new

A model we trained ourselves, running closer to home.

We've custom-trained a version of OiMy's core model specifically on parenting and family conversations — built to eventually run privately, right on your device, for most of what it does day to day.

For the moments that call for real depth — a tricky co-parenting talk, a big emotional disclosure — it quietly brings in more firepower behind the scenes, without you noticing the handoff. Local when it can be. Powerful when it needs to be.

It's also gotten noticeably better at not repeating itself, at catching the question you actually asked instead of drifting back ten minutes — and underneath it all, real safety nets that catch when something needs a human or a doctor, not just a chatbot reply.

The whole family, not just you

It knows "the kids" isn't one person.

It knows Emma's allergy is different from Jake's, that Grandpa's routine matters, that each kid needs something a little different. It holds all of it, quietly, in the background — so you don't have to.

Underneath the conversation

A short list of what's actually running behind a "simple" chat — because a lot of it is new.

Trained in-house

A finetuned family model

Our own model, tuned specifically on parenting and coaching conversations — not a generic assistant wearing a parenting costume.

Hybrid by design

Local first, cloud when it counts

Routine turns stay close to home. Harder, deeper moments quietly borrow extra reasoning power — you never see the seam.

Session memory

It stops repeating itself

Meal plans, advice, suggestions — tracked across the whole conversation, not just the last message.

Built-in safety nets

Knows when to step back

Checks that catch when something needs a real person — a doctor, a crisis line, a human — instead of a chatbot reply.

We're not replacing the village. We're making sure it's awake at midnight too.

Kids have always needed a village — and so do parents. We just think that village should have something in it that never tires of hearing about the school drama for the fourth time, and treats the small stuff and the heavy stuff with the same care.
